Frequently Asked Questions
What is Pokeibo?
Pokeibo is a personal expense-tracking app. It imports your PayPay Card CSV statements and helps you categorize and visualize your spending — including sole-trader (個人事業) business expenses. All of your data stays on your device.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. Every transaction you import stays on your device. Pokeibo does not transmit your transaction data to OhayoStudio or any third party. Because of this, you are responsible for backing up your data — the app provides export and backup functions for that purpose.
How do I get my data into Pokeibo?
Export a CSV statement from your PayPay Card account, then import it into the app. Pokeibo reads the CSV and automatically suggests categories for each transaction. You can review and correct any categorization before relying on it.
Is Pokeibo affiliated with PayPay?
No. Pokeibo is an independent, third-party tool. “PayPay” and “PayPay Card” are trademarks of their respective owners. Pokeibo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PayPay Corporation, SoftBank, or any related entity — it simply processes CSV files you export yourself.
How much does it cost?
Pokeibo is available by subscription:
- Monthly plan: ¥300
- Annual plan: ¥1,800
New subscribers get a 14-day free trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, you’ll be charged for the plan you chose. Prices may be revised with reasonable prior notice.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can cancel at any time through your Apple or Google account settings. Your subscription stays valid for the period you’ve already paid for.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies — OhayoStudio cannot process refunds directly.

Can I use Pokeibo outside Japan?
Pokeibo is designed for use in Japan and requires a PayPay Card account, which is only available in Japan. It is available in selected markets to serve users who reside in Japan with non-Japanese Apple or Google accounts, but it is not intended for use outside Japan.
Is the categorization always correct?
No. Merchant categorization uses pattern matching and machine learning, which can produce wrong results. Always verify before relying on the data for tax, accounting, or any other financial decision. Pokeibo is not a financial, tax, or investment advisor.
